Tak Cheong was established in 1976 in Hong Kong as an electronic components trading company. By 1997, the company was restructured to Tak Cheong Electronics (Holdings) Company Limited and repositioned itself mainly in electronic components manufacturing with a manufacturing facility in Shanwei as a global supplier for discrete products. Since then, we established a very strong alliance with Fairchild, Philips, Motorola, Littelfuse, and Vishay as a product provider with world class quality level. As time goes on, we have continued as a business partner for On-Semi, Nexperia, WeEn, Littelfuse, Vishay and many other international semiconductor companies.

Shanwei is at a distance of approximately 170km from Shenzhen. Our manufacturing facility can also be reached via high-speed train connected directly from Hong Kong to Shanwei.

We have a very strong engineering team specialized in packaging design for both Power and Discrete products. Our world class quality level, turnaround time, and response to customers is well recognized by the industry. We currently are engaged in a majority of Power products design and packaging as well as most Discrete devices manufacturing at a volumetric scale.
